PRACTICAL ANSWERS BEFORE YOU DECIDE
A clearer decision.
A better-fitting amenity.
Understand the space, service and agreement details before choosing an amenity for your community.
Book a Site ReviewIs there a cost to add a smart-cooler amenity?
No-cost placement is available for qualifying communities. Suitability depends on your property, resident demand, location and equipment needs. Residents pay for their purchases. Property responsibilities and any site preparation are clarified before approval.
Do you offer revenue share?
Yes. Revenue share is offered, with eligibility and terms based on the property and proposed amenity. The percentage, sales calculation, payment timing and any thresholds are defined in the written agreement. Explore revenue share.
How many apartment units do we need?
There is no single unit count that tells the whole story. Occupied units, use of the common area, resident access and equipment size all matter. Share your unit count during the review so the recommendation reflects likely demand.
Where can the equipment go?
Potential locations include a resident lounge, clubhouse, mailroom or indoor fitness-area entrance. The review checks space, electrical access, connectivity, deliveries, visibility and accessible circulation. Indoor equipment should not be assumed suitable for outdoor pool decks or unsheltered areas.
Who stocks and services the amenity?
Stocking, equipment service and product management are handled by Apartment Vending Houston. Restocking is scheduled at least weekly, with the mix adjusted from purchases and feedback. Remote monitoring helps guide service; product availability can vary between visits.
Can residents use it after leasing-office hours?
They can when the community provides access to the chosen space. Availability follows your property’s access rules. Equipment does not create access to a locked clubhouse or override existing resident policies.
Can we offer household essentials as well as refreshments?
Yes. Alongside packaged food, water and other drinks, we plan compact necessities such as sealed laundry detergent packs, wrapped toilet-paper rolls, sunscreen and travel toiletries. Requests and purchasing patterns help shape the mix. Specific products depend on availability and appropriate equipment storage.
What power, internet and space are needed?
Requirements depend on the chosen equipment. A site review confirms dimensions, electrical needs, a suitable connection and installation access before a layout is agreed. There is no universal outlet or footprint requirement for every option.
Can you replace an existing vending provider?
Yes, a review can assess an existing amenity and a potential replacement. Your management team checks the current agreement’s notice and removal requirements before confirming a changeover. Installation is coordinated around those obligations.
How do resident purchase questions get handled?
Residents use the support instructions at the equipment or the resident support form. Property and purchase details help identify the issue. Do not submit full card numbers, CVVs or account passwords.
What happens after I book a site review?
Your request is saved for follow-up. The next conversation confirms the property, decision-makers and a suitable review time. Submitting the form is a request; it does not reserve or confirm an appointment.
What kind of amenity do you offer?
We offer enclosed smart-cooler amenities with a curated mix of packaged food, drinks and compact resident essentials. The review matches single coolers, double coolers, smart freezers or a discreet, low-profile model to your property. Explore smart coolers.
Can you review multiple properties?
Yes. Start with one community and note the additional properties in your request. Each location is assessed for demand, placement, access and service logistics before a recommendation is made.
Can the amenity help residents avoid late-night or bad-weather store trips?
Yes. When a needed item is stocked and the amenity space is accessible, residents can make a small purchase within their community instead of taking an extra trip off property. That convenience supports comfort and peace of mind, especially after dark or on a rainy Houston evening. The review considers resident access hours, the location and a useful mix of essentials.
